Global music sensation Ed Sheeran is set to make history as the first international superstar to perform in Bhutan, marking a watershed moment for the remote Himalayan kingdom that rarely hosts large-scale entertainment events.
The announcement comes as part of the final chapter of his record-breaking Mathematics Tour, which will conclude with performances across Bhutan, India, and the Middle East in 2025.

The Bhutan concert represents a significant milestone for the Buddhist nation, which carefully preserves its cultural heritage and only opened its doors to television in 1999.
The country, known for measuring Gross National Happiness, has never hosted a Western artist of Sheeran’s caliber before, making this performance a transformative moment in Bhutan’s entertainment landscape.
Ed Sheeran Middle East Tour Dates 2025
The tour’s Middle Eastern leg has been strategically grouped, with performances scheduled at some of the region’s most prestigious venues.
The grand finale will take place on May 2, 2025, at the Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre in Sakhir, Bahrain. This stunning open-air venue nestled in the heart of the desert is known for its spectacular sunset views and state-of-the-art acoustics, which can accommodate up to 10,000 spectators.
Prior to this, Sheeran will perform at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall in Doha, Qatar on April 30, 2025, marking his first return to Qatar since 2015.
Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour, launched in Dublin in 2022, has already captivated audiences worldwide with more than 134 electrifying performances. The tour showcases the superstar’s latest achievements, including his entry into Spotify’s Billions Club for an astounding 12 songs.

Tickets for the tour’s conclusion will be available for general sale on December 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time, exclusively via EDSHEERAN.COM.
“Coming back to India for my biggest ever tour of your beautiful country. Also coming to play Bhutan for the first time, coming back to Qatar for the first time in a decade, and playing that beautiful amphitheater in Bahrain again. What a way to start 2025, can’t wait to see you all there,” Sheeran shared in an Instagram post.
Ed Sheeran’s concert in India spans six dates, with shows in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Shillong, and Delhi NCR.
With nearly 200 million records sold globally, these upcoming shows are expected to be a musical delight for fans and a testament to Sheeran’s enduring global popularity.
