Indian passport holders can now visit Argentina more easily. The South American nation has rolled out a major travel update, simplifying the process for those looking to explore one of the world’s most diverse landscapes.

Visiting Argentina Made Easy for Indians

On August 27, 2025, Argentine Ambassador Mariano Caucino announced that Indian citizens with a valid U.S. tourist visa can now travel to Argentina from India without applying for a separate Argentine visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (AVE).

Calling it “wonderful news for both Argentina and India,” Caucino stressed the goal of making the country more accessible. “It’s impossible to improve tourism if we don’t make it easier for them to come!” he said.

Flight Options and Travel Essentials

Most journeys from India begin in Buenos Aires, via Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza). A one-way flight from Delhi takes nearly 25 hours and costs between ₹61,977 and ₹95,891.

Under the new rule, travelers can stay for up to 90 days. According to the Argentina tourist guide for Indians, visitors should carry a valid U.S. visa, a passport with six months’ validity, return flight tickets, and proof of accommodation. The ideal time to go is between September and December, when the weather is mild.
