Akasa Air continues its impressive ascent in the aviation sector by adding to Abu Dhabi from Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, starting March 1 and 2, 2025.
This strategic expansion marks another milestone in the airline’s efforts to strengthen India-UAE air travel connectivity, complementing its existing Mumbai-Abu Dhabi route that debuted in July 2024.
Praveen Iyer, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, shared the company’s vision: “We are thrilled to ramp up our network in UAE with the addition of daily direct flights connecting Abu Dhabi with two prominent Indian cities – Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. The expansion is in line with our aim of making air travel accessible for a greater number of Indians by enhancing international air connectivity from the length and breadth of the country. Increased connectivity will also enable us to foster the growing momentum of trade, travel, and economic activity between the two countries.”
With bookings now open on Akasa Air’s website, mobile apps, and popular OTAs, travelers can start planning their seamless journeys between India and the UAE.

The newly launched Akasa Air Abu Dhabi flights highlight the airline’s commitment to meeting the increasing demand for international travel.
Bengaluru, a bustling tech hub, and Ahmedabad, a rapidly growing cultural and business center, are crucial markets for Akasa’s growth strategy.
The flight schedules are as follows:
- Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi (Flight QP 578): Departs at 10:00 AM, arrives at 12:35 PM.
- Abu Dhabi to Bengaluru (Flight QP 577): Departs at 3:00 AM, arrives at 8:45 AM.
- Ahmedabad to Abu Dhabi (Flight QP 580): Departs at 10:45 PM, arrives at 1:00 AM (next day).
- Abu Dhabi to Ahmedabad (Flight QP 579): Departs at 2:50 PM, arrives at 7:25 PM.
This move aligns with Akasa Air’s focus on Akasa Air international routes in 2025, which also includes connections to Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Kuwait City.
The airline, which currently serves 22 domestic cities, is quickly gaining recognition as a reliable and affordable carrier for both business and leisure travelers.
